Introducing New Clinician 

Timothy S Zeiger, PsyD, PLLC is excited to welcome our newest LPC:

Cara Shaffer earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Susquehanna University and her Master’s Degree in Counseling at Messiah University. She worked as an After School Mental Health Counselor and then transitioned into a Blended Children’s Mental Health Case Manager at Case Management Unit where she worked with children and their families to overcome barriers and obstacles that confront them to recover from their mental illness.

During that time, she earned the 2014 Dauphin County Staff Recognition Award for Mental Health Case Manager.

After she completed her Master’s Degree, she began her career as an Elementary School Counselor where she helps to develop social emotional learning in individual sessions and small groups with students in order to empower and instill resilience and recovery.

She recently received her Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies from Messiah University.

Cara is accepting new patients for in person and virtual appointments through the practice.
